The Scentsory Den is a guided enrichment activity designed specifically for dogs. What exactly is a Scentsory Den, you might wonder? Well, it's a unique sensory room where dogs are encouraged to explore their surroundings through various senses such as taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing.
The Scentsory Den not only provides mental enrichment and stimulation but also doubles as a slow-paced socialization opportunity. This activity is especially beneficial for puppies and dogs that may be nervous, anxious, fearful, or elderly.
During your visit to the Scentsory Den, you and your dog will have a private time slot to thoroughly explore the room together. Rest assured that Lauren Tsao, our certified professional dog trainer and dog behavior consultant, will be there to oversee your experience, making sure it is both enjoyable and beneficial for your dog.
With Lauren's expertise, she will attentively observe and provide insightful feedback on your dog's behavior, body language, and posture in the room. This valuable information will help you understand which enrichment activities truly enrich your dog's life and identify anything that may be overwhelming for them in a home environment.
So, whether your dog is in need of mental stimulation, relaxation, or a boost in confidence, the Scentsory Den offers a safe and controlled environment for them to explore their natural instincts.
Pricing:
$40 per forty-minute private time slot for one dog (two humans may attend), which includes:
Certified Dog Behavior Consultant’s feedback & assistance during your time.
Treats given during time slot (please consult us about allergies/intolerances at least 48 hours in advance.)
Video of your session. (When possible. If your dog is scared of the camera, it will be removed.)
PDF instructions on how to setup your own scentsory den at home.
Complementary herbal tea, coffee, or water for attending humans.
And of course, all setup and clean up handled by our staff.

Cancellation Policy:
Because this is a one-time event, reschedule (unless there is another open time slot) will not be possible. For cancellations, a full refund will be issued minus any credit card processing fees incurred, provided the cancellation is made at least 72 hours in advance.
Unfortunately, if the cancellation request is made less than 72 hours before your scheduled time, it cannot be refunded. Missed time slots are also non-refundable.
All dogs attending must be up-to-date on rabies, bordetella, and DAPP vaccines, as well as up-to-date flea/tick prevention and a negative on their last fecal test (which should have been given within the last year.) You will be asked to provide proof at the time of booking in order to attend. Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian.
Lack of proof of required vaccinations 72 hours before the event will result in cancellation of your time slot with no refund. No refunds will be issued in the event that you or your dog are dismissed for displaying aggressive or unsafe behaviors.
Please be advised that time slots will be honored for the scheduled time only. We cannot extend time slots due to late arrival, so please arrive on time.
