Virtual Functional Analysis For Your Dog Clients

Dynamic Dog Assessments

For when you need a second set of eyes on your dog behavior cases.

What Is a Dynamic Dog Assessment?

A Dynamic Dog Assessment is a hands-free functional analysis of a dog’s conformation, posture, gait, ambulation, and activities of daily living. Our Licensed Dynamic Dog Practitioner, Lauren Tsao analyzes all aspects of a dog’s life, including their comfort levels, which could be a major contributing factor in their behavior. This process is 100% virtual and can be performed anywhere in the world. She’ll coach your clients on taking necessary videos & photos for their dog’s assessment prior to their call.

Because the Dynamic Dog process is so unique, dog trainers, dog behavior consultants, and even veterinarians, can easily work along side Dynamic Dog Practitioners to achieve well-rounded results. Lauren will extract the details you need to get unstuck on a dog behavior case, while doing the legwork for you.

Assessment cost for your client will be $200 due at time of booking.
We offer financial assistance options available for those in urgent need.

What Dog Professionals Can We Help?

  • Dog trainers and dog behavior consultants who need a behavior/training case reviewed by a second set of eyes - particularly to assess the dog’s movement, daily activities, gait, and posture through a behavioral impact lens.

  • Vet clinics with patients that present with challenging or dangerous behaviors during exams, making thorough exams difficult or a safety risk.

  • Dog groomers that have dog clients they struggle to complete grooms on and are concerned there could be something more going on.

  • Dog walkers and pet sitters that have dog clients with behavior concerns and are concerned there could be something more going on.

  • Pet professionals struggling to communicate to their client’s vet team the concerns they have in a way that helps the vet take actionable steps.

  • Pet professionals with client dogs that have had a sudden behavior change and you need a thorough review of the case now - not later.

How Can Dynamic Dog Help My Client?

  • Less Leg Work For You

Lauren can help by sifting through hours of footage of your client - only leaving you with the juicy bits. She may also pick up on behavior patterns that weren’t possible to detect without intensive review of your client’s daily life.

  • Looking Through A New Lens

Sometimes all a behavior case needs is a fresh set of eyes or a different prospective. Because Dynamic Dog Practitioners are trained to look at daily life activities, movement, posture, and more, in the context of behavioral impact, Lauren may exact further details you need to best help your client.

  • Less Stress, More Success

Because Dynamic Dog Assessments are 100% hands-free and can be conducted virtually, Lauren can provide information for the vet, which might be difficult to see in a clinic setting because of the dog’s behavior or stress level.

What Is Included In a Dynamic Dog Assessment?

Dynamic Dog Deep Dive

Once you have referred your client, Lauren will have a Zoom call with them lasting approximately 90 minutes. She will take a look at what life is like for them and their dog. Be warned she wants to know everything, which often leads to previously unexplored territory. After that, there will be a 30-minute follow-up Zoom call to review her findings, in which the referring professional can join us with client permission.

Data Gathering

Lauren will coach your client on how to collect needed videos and photos to provide additional information about the dog’s daily life.

Evidence Analysis

Lauren will then go over all the data & information given to her in the consult, so she can build the full picture of what is going on for the client’s dog.

Veterinary Report & Liaison

Lauren then construct a comprehensive veterinary report with corresponding evidence and liaise with your client’s vet with her findings to ensure that any underlying health issues are diagnosed and supported so that they lesson the impact on your client dog’s behavior. Vet reports go straight to the client and/or their vet team.

Behavior Management Plan

This may be a short term plan to help you and your client micro manage behavior whilst additional veterinary support is given or a longer term plan can be discussed depending on assessment outcomes. This management plan can be discussed with you first to make sure it fits your current training plan for the client dog or given to you to discuss directly with your client yourself.
