What is Private Dog Training?

Customized training programs for you and your dog

Faithfully Yours Dog Training offers two types of private dog training sessions: in your home in the Jackson Metro area or at our private training location in Braxton, MS.

During sessions, our Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed, will guide your through training exercises at you and your dog's pace using a customized, positive reinforcement based training plan we create for you when you first contact us. You will be asked to keep up with the training by practicing in between each session to ensure you and your dog's success!

Braxton Location - Tuesdays through Thursdays

Private training at our beautiful,11-acre Braxton location  is offered Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10am to 5pm (last session starts at 5pm). Next enrollment period for Braxton will start July 1st for the month of August. We have both an indoor and fenced-in outdoor area for training in, as well as discs and agility equipment available for use.

Jackson Metro In-Home - Saturdays Only

We only offer in-home training on Saturdays only in the Jackson metro areas listed below only, therefore these services are usually booked a month or two in advance.

Please contact us ahead of time if you want in-home training. In-home training for Jackson metro is closed. Our next enrollment period for in-home services will open July 1st, 2018 for the month of August. These spots are very limited and go quickly!

In-home services are only offered to select areas, which include; Jackson, Brandon, Flowood, Pearl, Ridgeland, Madison, Gluckstadt, Clinton, and Canton on weekends when our trainers in the area. All other areas will need to travel to our Braxton location for private training.

In-home services are designed for students with dogs that have major behavioral issues that could present a safety concern at our Braxton facility. Vet referrals are encouraged to get in for in-home training in a timely manner, as we select based on immediate need and vet referrals first and foremost during the enrollment process, since these spots are so limited.

We enroll for these services in a very specific order to make sure those who need these services the most get them. We do not consider car sickness, play biting, or potty training reasons to be “bumped up” in priority for in-home services.

These services were designed for dogs with major behavioral concerns that make bringing them to our facility a safety hazard. We occasionally make any “leftover” in-home sessions available to the general public.

Certain behavioral programs can only be completed in a client's home for safety and the dog's comfort. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
