About Our Reactivity Group Class:
Have a dog that is barking and lunging excitedly at other dogs or strangers on leash? This is the group class for you! Learn how to get to the root of this issue - rather than just teaching obedience skills to cover it up. Leash reactivity is becoming one of the most common behavioral issue we deal with in dogs today.
We will cover the following topics:
Addressing leash reactivity that is excitement based
Understanding where this behavior starts
Desensitization and counter-conditioning
Loose leash walking skills
Creating a peaceful walk for both you and your dog
Skills for frustration and stress relief on walks
Addressing barking and lunging on leash
