About Our Sports Group Class:

Have you ever wanted to get started in the world of dog sports, but feel too intimidated? Are you not sure your dog has the manners, natural ability, or confidence to excel in the ring? If you aren’t sure what sport to start with, your dog needs a refresher to clean up sloppy performances, or you are looking for a class that isn’t just sit and stay, this group class will be perfect for you! This class can be modified to suit all ages over three months.

We will cover the following topics:

  • Off-leash work and reliability for sports

  • Getting focus and engagement in the ring

  • How to keep your dog relaxed when crated

  • Building confidence in new situations

  • Intros to a variety of sports like disc dog, agility, stunt dog, rally, and more.

  • Creating solid foundational skills for sports

  • Working around other dogs and distractions

Who Can Attend:

Class requires up to date vaccines and negative result on last fecal test given in the past year. Dogs three months and up are allowed into class. Exercises not suitable for younger dogs’ joints will be modified for those students.

How Much and What Is Included:

Class is $250 for six 1-hour group classes (no more than five dog/handler teams per class). This class comes with a free 1-hr video orientation, a clicker, and a waived title testing fee of your choice. Plus there is a chance to win prizes during class time!

Class Schedule and Make-Up Policy:

Class dates subject to changes due to weather conditions as class is weather dependent.
